Cable Crunches, Hanging Leg raises, decline sit ups, and leg raises.
Also you have to have a body fat percentage below 10% if you want to see your abs. Everyone has abs but they are usually covered by fat, the only way for it to show is lose body fat.
The thing to keep in mind is that everyone has abdominal muscles; while crunches (especially on an exercise ball), “plank” exercises, and lying-down leg lifts can do wonders for strengthening your abs, they’re not going to show if you have significant body fat. Contrary to what you may believe, doing ab exercises does NOT reduce belly fat; it simply tones and strengthens the muscles. There is no way to “target” fat in a certain area; the body will burn fat wherever it can.
So, to put it concisely: 6-pack abs come from a healthy diet more than exercise. If you do have some belly fat to get rid of, do a lot of cardio to burn that off and you’ll start to see those abs in no time.
Cardio. Can’t have a 6 pack if you don’t have low body fat and cardio is how you burn fat. PLUS, as an added bonus, cardio, especially running, ellipticals, and rowing, work every muscle in your core enhancing your six-pack physique.
No amount of crunches, situps, planks, etc will do anything if you have any flub resting on top of it.
My boyfriend uses the bow flex every day for about 2-3 hours a day (Im not kidding I’ve seen him) and Its the easiest and most effective way to get them. If your serious about it then its worth the investment but If you dont feel like spending the cash I would go with any of these suggestions here.
