Strong Body (Male)?!?!?!?

Well im 13yrs old.
Its summer and I want to have a nice strong body but i don’t mean like the “Worlds Strongest Man” but yeah and i don’t know what im suppose to do.

(Im skinny)

    u have a high metabolism like me…. skinny people wont gt big muscles becasue u need fat .. of ur medium sized and then workmout,, ur muscle tranform fatty tissue as muscle .. metabolism will swtich on u soon.. i have had it since i was 14,,, i was 120.. im 15 and im almost reaching 180… my metabolism swtiched.. i go to mcdonalds , eat a chicken nugget, gain like 5 pounds,, before, go to mcdonalds, eat a burger with frieds and coke, all large,, i lost weight !!

    Sorry at thirteen the diet that weight lifters need to get muscles and all that isn’t healthy for someone your age.

    At age 13 you should not attempt real heavy lifting. This is because your bones and joints are still growing and can sustain injuries that could haunt you into your adult years. This does not mean you cannot gain some muscle mass. Start slowly and use weights that you can easily handle for 10 reps. Do exercises that will effect the large muscle groups. This means squats(or leg presses), dead lifts, bench presses, and over the head presses. Start with relatively light weights you can easily handle and work up in weight gradually. On the first rep use a weight that you can do 10 reps with. The next rep of that exercise do as many reps as you can with a slightly heavier weight. Alternate the exercises. Leg work then upper body work. Do not try to exercise every day with weights, do it every other day. Your body will need that off day to recuperate and repair. If you try to exercise with weights every day you could actually loose weight! The in between day can be for ab exercises or jogging to increase your stamina for those weight exercises. Don’t overdo it on the off day. Give your self the weekend off to recover if you want. You should do the weight exercises Mon, Wed., Fri. Also a protein supplement might help. Persistence will pay off. I hope that helps some. Good luck.

    I was really skinny when I was thirteen you could almost see my heart beat but now it’s less my muscles started growing and i’m eating more because i’m hungry and hitting puberty. so that will all change in a year or so.
