Scared of car breaking down?

Will something bad happen to me if im driving and my car breaks down?
I’ve never had it happen yet but I’m so afraid I’ve stopped driving altogether.

If you are constantly worrying about this then I suggest you get AAA. It is only $ 50 a year and they will come out and help you if your car breaks, you need a rental, you have a flat, or even give you discounts on vacation stays. Plus, paying $ 50 a year (even for 10 years) will still be cheaper than being stranded somewhere and having to call a tow truck and getting your car fixed.
do you have basic vehicle knowledge? if not, take a class in basic auto mechanics. you need to check your fluids on a regular basis, (oil,coolant,brake fluid, window washer,and of course, fuel.} check tire pressure, look for cracks in tires or irregular wear patterns, check your battery connections and the water level in your battery. if you become more confident with your vehicle by the knowledge you gain, aha, success. also , just in case of those rare breakdowns, have a cellphone at your side. hope this helps
