What are natural remedies for stomach problems?

So far, i’ve been having gas and a stomach that went from flat to a very noticeable bulge. The thing that started it my indigestion was stress and Chinese food. Does anyone know any remedies that would provide quick/instant relief from indigestion?

Don’t take any antacids because they will actually further digestive problems. I would suggest a food enzyme- preferably one by nature’s sunshine. You can find them at http://www.naturessunshine.com

The acidity in your stomach is what is helps you digest your food. So your stomach needs to be acidic. Although, depending on what your diet is like, you could be a little too acidic. A doctor would recommend an antacid for your indigestion problem, but the problem with that is it can throw you at the opposite end of the spectrum into being too base- which will hinder your digestion as well. Stay away from acidic foods and drinks. Get ahold of digestive enzymes and you will be just fine! Good luck and feel better!

I boil hot water, pour it into a cup and put one or two peppermint tea bags and/or chamomile tea bags in it. I let the bags sit until the tea becomes dark. Then I sip the entire cup. I also have taken charcoal tablets that are sold in the health food store. The herbal tea bags I use are also sold in the health food store and most supermarkets in the aisle where tea is sold.

Chew on some fresh mint leaves.
    Charcoal sounds good to.
The fastest of them all is the bicarb – soda.

Cut back the greasy American version of Chinese for one… don’t eat onions, garlic, processed foods, beans, yeast, dairy or anything you know is hard for you to digest. Fast from food or just eat apples for a day and give your digestive tract a rest. Add fiber to your diet, Alfalfa is a natural a concentrated nutrient source that is rich in insoluble fiber and therefore aids digestive elimination.

Check out an acupressure book or website and massage anything you can find related to digestion. There are four points around your navel in a square shape, feel around and see if anything is sore, if it is rub it in a circular motion.

Peppermint tea and Chamomile tea is great, so drink that daily if you like it.

As far as supplements go look into enzymes.

    Good luck!
