Some people believe that our brain is activated when we sleep. If this is the case then we would have no dreams. Dreams are signs that our mind remains active, even when we sleep. This simply means that our mind is active 24 hours a day with no rest at all. Imagine how our body if we would move to 24 hours of physical activity.
Although research shows that may be 30% of mental illness without a trigger of stress occur, it also shows that a majority occur – 70% – of mental illness related to stress. The search is not able to watch the other 30%, the mentally ill may not “recognize” stress at a given time. This gives us a pessimistic view of mental illness. We believe that this fact does not bother us. We also learn that mental disorders occur because of our genes, our upbringing, our personality, our temperament, our lifestyle and we can do something. Stress or no stress, we are told, when we loaded all of these factors in our personal history, we tend to have a mental illness. Some psychiatrists believe that strong. This belief is then more authority than the truth “gospel” of the science done. Of course, this gives a sense of low self-esteem and the inability of the person suffering from the disease. We are then led to believe that man-made drug responses to mental illness, who are a curse of nature.
The prayer, which was until recently, as unscientific, was shown a positive impact on the patient. 1 in a similar way, the current beliefs of psychiatry that mental disorders can be treated by medical professionals, and only the person who is mentally ill has no control over their lives. The operation of the medical system in a way that only doctors have few options other than prescription drugs. The patient has no choice worthy of mention. From a legal standpoint, a person who is mentally ill not considered capable of taking full responsibility for their actions. This is one of the unfortunate aspects of mental illness. People who are mentally ill also have a sense of responsibility in many areas of their lives.
The role of emotions in mental illness has been totally ignored by science. But studies show that cause separation of the mother, 2 losses3 – death, including, 4 traumatic events, especially when they occur in May last three months5 mental illness. What was seen is the story of these events in the life of a man. What is ignored is the vibration caused in a person’s body and mind. The term emotional effects of trauma improved. 6 repeated changes in the body simply does not forget. Release of emotions through emotional expression explains the role of counseling and confession. We tend to believe erroneously that everything was solved with time. Vacations in time to solve – but not all. These issues and their emotional effect that cause mental disorders and psychosomatic illnesses. It is obvious that if we want to be an emotional experience, our nervous system and hormonal shaken-up. The nervous system and hormones control the activities of different parts of the body. If the term neurohormonal is entitled to pass through the filling of a physiological rest is in the body. This has a scientific basis. 7
For people who go to church regularly, a common experience is the feeling of tranquility upon entering a church. Thus, in connection with music, incense and speaking in a voice low and sweet, a feeling of tranquility is found on the person. There is scientific evidence to go to church, it allows people to stay healthy. 8 Even more interesting is the fact that there is little research to say that music and aromatherapy help to bring mental health. But experience shows that they have a calming effect. More recently it has started to publish in scientific journals, the gap between spirituality and science. 9 It has now been researched that people who are religious in orientation and low rates of stroke than those who are not clerics. 10
Losing the entire field of mental illness is a feeling of freedom. When we committed to the emotional aspects of our lives that we can not free ourselves, we lose our freedom of thought. This leads to stress in our minds and our bodies bear the brunt of it. This loss of freedom provides a sense of fear or helplessness. Both bring to such feelings, a sense of insecurity. A person loses confidence in its own value. Self-esteem is low. With a lack of confidence and low self-esteem just making bad decisions. A person suffering from these conditions, when suffering from mental illness. This changes the behavior of the person. This behavior is by how the person feels and thinks affected. If the person feels anxious for a long time, and increase the chances paranoid phobic. Withdrawal from social situations occurs. The family of the person under surveillance must be healthy. Such a person is then asked to see a doctor. Even the person with low self-esteem, increases vulnerability. This does not mean that the person is totally irresponsible towards their own well-being. To do this many times a person “get something” to be better, but the health system has limited resources to offer much in terms of personal growth, other than drugs. When a mentally ill person will seek the Help – confidence, self esteem and sense of freedom have already been lost. Instead of helping the person to become independent, there is a tendency that the person dependent on drugs.
The drug plays a role in controlling the condition or disease state. It does not change continuously to improve quality of life. To improve their quality of life, the person must take responsibility for their own physical property. This is encouraged in certain organizations that are currently executed by the parties themselves. GROW is an example of such an organization. Are there alternatives to medication in mental disorders? A doctor can prescribe medication to control “the psychological state. To encourage the current trend in some other parts of the world, people suffer from mental illness to take responsibility for their own well-being, with drugs. Psychotherapy11 and assistance is encouraged. The use of drugs in such situations will be minimized or eliminated.
In psychiatry, we know that the suicide rate is higher among physicians than in the general population and psychiatrists have a higher risk among physicians and other specialists. 12 Research shows that psychotherapy is more expensive than medication alone in treating mental illness. 13 Conditions such as schizophrenia are treated without drugs in certain parts of the world. 14 It is also a known fact that the more positive the attitude we have, the more balanced are the chemicals in our bodies. 15 This would be acceptable for those who see the positive role of religion on mental health. Some authors have suggested that will be the medicine of the future “prayer and Prozac. 16 Mental health is a preventive activity. Must we suffer before the first step should be to deal with it? If we do not take responsibility for our own mental health, we need not suffer. The best remedy in this case is certainly not prevention.
We live in a free society. The freedom to suffer, it is also a kind of freedom. We also have the freedom to seek answers to minimize our suffering.
